As part of the course in rhetoric and storytelling techniques, we were assigned to create a fictional informational film for a Swedish government agency. The film was intended for a target audience of high school students.
I chose to produce a film for the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency, focusing on media literacy and source criticism.
So on a cold and rainy Saturday in March, I brought three talented actors (my kids! 😊 The wounds are make up!) out to film a few scenes in Eskilstuna. These scenes were then interwoven with authentic footage from, among other sources, the wars in Ukraine and Palestine. The film was edited in Adobe Premiere Rush, where I added sound and visual effects.
Beyond the film itself, the assignment also included creating a storyboard and a written script.
The soundtrack used in the film is "In the End You'll Know" by James Holden.
